Wyoming Wonders!
After our brief excursion into Idaho, we were back on track and headed into the Cowboy State, which we came to find out was also the first state to give women the right to vote! Our first campground was The Virginian RV Park about a 3 hour drive from our current campground in Idaho. We enjoyed our time here but at the time of our stay in May, 2019, the interior roads were very rutted and in horrible shape. For me, this reflects very poorly on the owners, who seemingly care

FROM SPUDS TO SPACE ROCKS: HOW IDAHO MASHED OUR TRAVEL PLANS!
What comes to mind when you think of Idaho? Never having been there, and never imagining that I would, I hadn't given the state much thought. The only association I could make was with the lowly russet potato. Boy, do they grow them big out there!! Yes, the tater is so popular they even garners its own museum! Fortunately, we found much more than just spud-love in lower Idaho but more on that below. Since leaving Delaware, our goal is to camp in all 48-contiguous states. At t

SADLY, YOU CAN'T OUTRUN YOUR PAST
When we left Delaware in October of 2017, our goal was to always stay in 70° weather. We were done with cold weather. Done with shoveling snow. Our travels would take us south when temps began to dip, and north when they became too hot. It was a fairly simple plan. This is why our travel map looks something like this: But when we got to Utah, our plan fell to pieces! But more on this in a minute.. THIS LEG OF OUR JOURNEY: Our next three stops took us from southern Utah, nort

UTAH: PREPARE TO BE AMAZED! [And our first RV accident!]
We arrived in the Beehive State in May of 2019. It will always be a memorable place for us. First because of the incredible National Parks we visited and secondly, because it was the location of our very first (and as of yet, only) RV accident! Fortunately, nobody was injured. I'll explain in more detail below. Utah is home to some of the most breathtaking national parks in the United States, with Zion and Bryce Canyon at the very top of that list. Yeah, it's just that beauti
